Dr Sophie Hallett
Sophie was the lead researcher for the ‘Keeping Safe?’ research and has developed the materials and resources from the project.
Sophie is an academic with a curiosity to explore and challenge taken-for-granted ways of seeing the world. Her work is all about young people, care and exploitation. She loves to translate academic research findings into meaningful messages for those who want to hear them.

Laura Sorvala
Laura illustrated all the images you can see on the ‘Keeping Safe?’ materials and she was also the animator of the video.
Laura is a freelance illustrator who has a knack for turning ideas into engaging illustrations and she loves to work on social and environmental topics.
